Left there and went down to the Jewish town. Emma has been studying the Holocaust this past year so she was eager to learn more about the people who were sent to the concentration camps.
One of the Jewish temples contained all the names, birth dates and last known date that they were seen before going to the concentration camps. We will visit Dachau next week to complete this lesson in history. The cemetery held graves dating back to the 1600s.
Did a little shopping on the way to the New Jewish Temple, which was completed in 1905. It was quite beautiful.
The rain began again around 4. Gina, I am certainly glad your Totes travel umbrella has a lifetime warranty because it would open but not stay up. I spent the rest of the afternoon with my arm in the air holding it open. Oh, well, I stayed pretty dry.
We've made it to Bar-Bar restaurant tonight - a recommended place. There was an hour wait time so we opted to dine in the bar area. Hope we don't catch cancer. These Europeans sure do smoke a lot.
Will leave in the morning heading to Rome. Catch us there later tomorrow night.
Another statue on the Charles Bridge
Czech spaghetti - cannot wait to get to Rome!!!
Pancakes with chicken - very good
Trout - also tasty
But Emma could not get past the eye!!
